Sony new patent can let you smell fragrances from games. The new Smell-O-Vision feature discharges scents in synchronization with player outputs. This is a new way of to immerse and feel different in-game sensations. As stated in the patent “The fragrance presentation device discharges the aroma in synchronization with an output of the content according to the aroma score including at least one element of an aroma type, an aroma generation timing, a discharge duration, a discharge amount, a discharge pattern, and a discharge trigger.”
