CAAE is the leading official certification body in Spain for the Cosmos certification of finished cosmetic products and raw materials accredited by IOAS.
From our origins, close to the field and producers, we have crossed Spanish borders and have become international, being the first national entity accredited by the European Commission to certify organic production under the European standard in third countries.
Likewise, they are the only Spanish entity accredited by the USDA to certify the US organic standard.
CAAE has undoubtedly played a key role in the development of Organic Production in Spain, contributing to the professionalisation and valorisation of Certified Organic Products in our country. At CAAE we were pioneers in the certification of organic production and in the creation of standards for the development of the sector, such as: organic inputs, organic aquaculture, catering and trade, with the CAAE brand.
The entity is authorised by the Competent Authorities of Andalusia, Castilla – La Mancha and Castilla y León. In addition, we are accredited by the National Accreditation Body (ENAC) under the UNE-EN-ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard for the scopes of Organic Production (Plant Products, Animal Products, Aquaculture, Processed Products for human and animal food, Global GAP (Fruit and Vegetables), as set out in the Technical Annex in force, and UNE inputs.
In their commitment to work for a more organic world, they innovate with their own standards in organic cosmetics, organic gardening and green inputs.
They also provide control and certification services for the widest range of international organic standards (Biosuisse, Soil, Naturland, Krav, Brazil, JAS), as well as for private standards and supplier evaluation.
